I was lucky enough to find Avalon, Gary Kull when I was interested in replacing my wood shingle siding with quality vinyl siding on my home in Danbury. I made contact with Gary and set up an appointment to meet at my home to discuss the project and options. From the very first meeting with Gary it became clear that he was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We discussed the options, colors, quality and style of the vinyl siding and Gary had also provided samples to view against the house for perspective. My wife and I decided on Cedar Shake vinyl shingles and a color that would work with the existing trim on the house. Gary set up delivery of the necessary shingles, soffitts, trim etc. The supplies arrived within a couple of weeks and the work began immediately. A crew, lead by William, arrived on site and began to remove existing shingles etc. I was amazed at the quality, care and speed that this crew exhibited working on our home. At the end of each day they worked here they cleaned up as if they were never here. The final product after just a few days of work was exactly what we imagined plus more. Gary had discussed what he was going to do prior to the job beginning and he was spot on. The working relationship with Gary and his crew was comfortable and accommodating. The pricing was fair and competitive and the price quoted was the price paid, no additions or overages. I have dealt with many contractors in my life and Gary at Avalon is ranked among the best. When you come across someone of his character and business ethics you cherish that find.
